Over 500 vintage cars were on hand for today's (Sunday) Sarnia Cruise-In-The-Park car show.

By every measure the event was once again a huge success.

The event was hosted again this year by the Sarnia Street Machines Car Club. The club is community focused, and the event as always was used to raise money for a local charity. Over the past 12-years the event has generated over $210,000 for Pathways Health Centre for Children.

The cars on display were simply stellar. Corvette's were well represented again this year, with some early 50's concours quality examples on hand. There was a cool Pontiac Fiero with a Ferrari body kit on it that was nicely done. A "VW Thing" was on display that was in exceptional condition. There were plenty of MOPARS too, and this year a small group of Micro Car enthusiasts were back, showing that this event attracts a wide range of people who help make up the back-bone of Southern Ontario's car community. The Sarnia event has become one of the best shows in Southern Ontario, which is why the SST Car Show Crew has covered the event several years in a row. The show draws a huge crowd...it's located in an ideal location...the cars on display are first rate....and the organizers are super friendly. The show is big plus not just for the local community but for Southern Ontario in general.
